Since 1971, Mick Lerner has been handling litigation of all kinds. He has handled matters in over 27 states, and in many federal district courts and federal courts of appeal. For his first 23 years, he tried cases at a major law firm in Kansas City, Missouri. Since 1983, he has been officing in Overland Park, Kansas, and since then the majority of his cases have been in Kansas state and federal courts.

Mick has handled cases of all sizes and complexities, from one involving an alleged national price-fixing scheme, in which he dealt with over thirty (30) law firms around the country, to individual personal injury claims, individual insurance claims, and individual discrimination claims. He drafted the lawsuit that resulted in the largest False Claims Act settlement in the history of that act.

Mick has represented major manufacturers who sell products both in the United States and overseas. As such, he has handled cases in numerous state and federal courts around the country, and abroad, and has supervised litigation in many states.

Mick is a decorated veteran of the U.S. Army, having served on the staff of the Commanding General of the 7th Infantry Division, in Korea, in the 1960's.

He has received an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell.
